Dotted Frame

Supplies Needed:  PSP 7 or 8

Suitable image

NVR Bordermania: "Click Here"

Gold pattern and Dotted jpeg   

 

1.  Open up your image.  Add a 2 pixel border and flood fill with gold pattern - keep selected.  

2.  Selections, invert, 3D effect - cutout with the following:  Vertical and Horizontal set at 0, Opacity at 100 and blur at 10.00.  Selections, select none.

3.  Pick a dark color from your image....I used #9C6287.  Borders, add border 3 pixels - select and flood fill with dark color.  Selections, select none.

4.  Effects, psp plug in - NVR Bordermania frame 2.  Border width 3, Frame width 3, Highlight Intensity 110, Shadow Intensity 130, check notched corners.

5.  Add a 15 pixels border with a contrasting color, select with magic wand.  Open up dotted jpeg image that I supplied.  Take your magic wand and select the background of dotted image with your magic wand and flood fill with your choice of color to match your image.  This is what my dotted background looked like:

 

Effects - texture effects - blinds.  Use the following settings:

6.  Select and flood fill with dotted image in 15 pixel border.  Keep image selected.

7.  Effects, 3D effects, inner bevel, select none:

8.  Add a 2 pixel border, select and flood fill with gold pattern.  Select none.

9.  Repeat steps three and four.

10.  Add a 25 pixel border, select with magic wand and flood fill with dotted pattern - angle set at 45, scale 100.  Keep selected.

11. Repeat inner bevel from step seven - repeat again if you like (I didn't with mine but I like it both ways).  Select none.

12.  Repeat steps eight and nine.  

You are done now and can add corners if your wish.  Hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
